II. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Function:
The Office of Human Resources is a unit established to advise and assist the Rector in managing and administrating activities related to the organizational and human resources tasks of the University.
2. Responsibilities:
- Organizing the recruitment/attracting policy staff in accordance with regulations of the VNU and State law; arranging to employ, assess and appoint staff accurately and effectively.
- Organizing the procedures to award/discipline staff.
- Developing the organizational structure, functions, and responsibilities of all UEB units.
- Developing the human resource to meet the strategy and annual plan of the university.
- Planning and executing the annual recruitment based on the regulations set up by the Government and the VNU.
- Building and planning the programs for staff training courses.
- Implementing other policies on remuneration, allowance, resignation and other procedures.
- Periodical assessment for management positions, appointing/re-appointing procedures.
- Collaborating with Office of Finance - Planning to carry out social and medical insurance tasks for UEB staff.
- Ensure the internal political missions at the university.
